Refund Policy
Stampede Lacrosse is a nonprofit leadership development organization that uses lacrosse to develop leaders and build a continuous pathway from youth participation to community impact. We work hard to treat families, participants, and supporters fairly while protecting the stability needed for long‑term impact.
This Refund Policy explains how we handle donations and program fees.
1. Donations
Donations fuel our leadership, mentorship, and access work. In general, donations are non‑refundable once processed.
We may consider refunds in limited situations such as:
Duplicate donations.
Obvious processing errors.
Unauthorized transactions (e.g., fraud).
If you believe an error occurred, contact us within 30 days with your name, date, amount, and proof of payment. We review each request individually.
2. Program, Clinic, and Event Fees
We design our programs to be structured and reliable for families and participants. Our standard refund approach balances flexibility with planning needs:
30 days or more before the start date
Full refund of program fees, or full credit toward a future Stampede program.
15 to 29 days before the start date
50% refund of program fees, or full credit toward a future program.
Fewer than 15 days before the start date
No guaranteed refund. We may offer partial refunds or credits at our discretion, especially in cases of documented illness, injury, or hardship.
Specific programs may publish more detailed terms which, if clearly stated, will govern for that program.
3. Medical, Injury, and Hardship
Stampede recognizes that life circumstances can change.
Medical or injury‑related withdrawals
If a participant cannot begin or continue in a program due to injury, illness, or concussion, we may provide a pro‑rated credit based on the remaining portion of the program, upon receipt of documentation from a licensed healthcare provider.
We follow a safety‑first approach; where necessary, we may remove a participant from play pending medical clearance.
Hardship withdrawals
If you need to withdraw due to significant hardship (e.g., job loss, family emergency, relocation), you may submit a written request explaining the situation. We will review these requests thoughtfully and may offer partial refunds or credits at our discretion.
4. Cancellations by Stampede
If Stampede cancels a program, clinic, or event:
We will offer a full refund of fees paid, or
You may choose to apply your payment as a credit toward a future program.
If a cancellation or major disruption is caused by events beyond our control (e.g., severe weather, public health actions, facility closures), we will make reasonable efforts to:
Reschedule or offer an alternative format, or
Provide credits or refunds consistent with this Policy and our Terms of Service.
5. Equipment Fees or Deposits
If we collect separate equipment fees or deposits (e.g., for loaned gear):
Deposits may be refundable when equipment is returned in acceptable condition by the agreed time.
Damaged, lost, or unreturned equipment may result in forfeiture of deposits or additional charges to cover replacement.
Details will be provided in specific program or equipment agreements where applicable.
